Battery Operated Pillar Candles
Would it seem Odd/Awkward or Stupid to use Votive Candles I’m not going to light at my Wedding Reception?
I have battery operated mini-pillar candles for my centerpieces – I’m putting them in little hurricane vases with other decorations, but my soon-to-be sister-in-law gave me some votive candles to use. I’d like to use them, but we’re not allowed to have Lit Candles in our venue. I was thinking of putting them on the tables, two per table, but I’m not sure if it would be silly to incorporate candles I’m not going to light. They’re just plain white votive candles that, instead of getting votive holders, I was going to nestle in tulle with some other decorations on it… My fiancee is against it, and my MOH isn’t being her decisive self on this one. Please let me know what you think! Thank you!!! =D
I think you should just use the Battery Operated Candles and skip the votives… maybe give the votives as favors??
