Selling Candles From Home
Candle making is an very old art, there are so many different types of candles you can make. If you’re already making candles, then you probably have been thinking about selling your candles for profit, or maybe you’re just starting out – it doesn’t matter with this article I want to give you ideas how to sell your candles from home.
Now, if you’re interested in selling your candles at home, then you have two options that I would recommend. You can use them both or pick one.
You have probably heard about eBay, it’s a site where people can sell their items. For a candle maker this can be a goldmine, if it’s done right. There are even books written about selling your candles on eBay.
Truth is that there is no special trick, just make sure that you’re candles clean and original. Always make sure to include photos of your candles and use a good camera that takes quality photos.
Another very important thing is to make your product title attractive, make sure it stands out of the crowd and makes people want to click on it.
With these tips in mind, you should start adding your candles to eBay, remember that the more sales you make the more your credibility will grow, people will start recommending you and you will get more customers.
So this was the first method I wanted to tell you about. Next one requires more work and will take more time to see results, but in long-term it’s very effective. What I’m talking about is opening your own online store.
Don’t worry if you don’t know how to do it, you can always hire someone to open it for you, it’s just one time investment and doesn’t cost that much. Make sure that your online store have good looking graphics and make sure you’re designer has some experience.
You can find people who would make online store for you from discussion boards or freelancing sites.
So these are the two best methods I would recommend you if you want to sell candles from home. It can be hard at first, but it will get easier and you might even get some long-term clients. If you’re just starting out, then I would recommend you to sell your candles at eBay first, to get better overview of selling your candles and move to the second method later.
If you’re serious about making your hobby profitable, then it’s better to have a good book that would cover all the information you need. I have reviewed most popular books to help you get started with candle making and selling them.
